A leading global solutions provider, in the Neath/Port Talbot area, are looking to on board an NDT (non-destructive testing) technician to join their expanding team.
The successful NDT Technician would be required to work a three-shift pattern; 6am - 2pm, 2pm -10pm and 10pm -6am.
This role is paying £12.53/£13.53 per hour + Shift allowance
Responsibilities:
Performing in process quality checks ensuring products comply with specifications
Performing non-destructive inspections on all components. Recording, organising and evaluating test results and generating NDT inspection reports
Highlighting any non-conformances and actively contributing to the overall quality of the product and processes
Maintaining test equipment and calibration is compliant for tests to be performed
Understanding the materials to be tested, how they are manufactured and the impact on the end product
Liaising with all departments to enhance the overall product/process quality is of the very highest standard
Experience / Skills:
Hold a PCN level 2 or ASNT level 2 in both DPI and MPI testing
Relevant engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent)
Experience with NDT (non-destructive testing)
Knowledge of problem solving and/or continuous improvement techniques
