About The Role
Support Worker – Swansea – Full time – 40.25 hours a week - £11.60 to £12.00 an hour
We’re a leading organisation dedicated to provide exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism.
Cartref Mynydd is only a few miles away from the stunning Gower Peninsula which is a designated area of outstanding beauty. It has sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and charming coastal villages all within a stone’s throw. Our residents can often be found wandering strolling through the Brecon Beacons, which are just to the north of Cartref Mynydd. On other days, our colleagues can be expected to be participating in activities such as hiking, swimming, trampolining, visits to the cinema and day trips to the beach.

Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration;
Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones;
Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs;
Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise;
General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation;Sound good so far? We are looking for people who care and have:

Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts;
A driving licence isn't essential, but would be advantageous;Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
