Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference in young minds? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our vibrant school community in Newcastle. This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and success of our students. GSL Education is in search of a HLTA to fill a post at one of our client schools in Newcastle.

Job Responsibilities:

Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
Lead small group activities and interventions to support student progress and achievement.
Provide targeted support to students with additional needs, ensuring inclusive and accessible learning opportunities for all.
Assist with the planning, preparation, and assessment of lessons and learning materials.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative learning community.
Relevant experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a teaching assistant or HLTA.
A Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting teaching and learning activities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
The successful candidate will:

Relevant experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a teaching assistant or HLTA.
A Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
