Groomfield Recruitment are seeking a Customer Service Advisor on a contract basis to work for our established and highly successful client based in Tamworth.

As a Customer Service Advisor, your duties will include:

* Answering Switchboard overflow

* Monitoring customer’s orders, deliveries, overseeing service levels, building rapport, making courtesy calls and resolving any issues for key accounts

* Taking calls and dealing with all enquiries from our customers/ the external sales team and the general public

* Processing internet orders using Sage and our in-house systems

* Overseeing x 2-4 areas specifically working with ASM’s for those areas and any requests they may have

* Processing email orders using in house system

* Preparing quotes

* Providing information on part numbers etc. and some basic technical details

* Promotions and mailshots for customers in designated areas

* Dealing with the carriers, chasing deliveries and obtaining POD’s

* Overseeing forward orders, call offs and projects for your customers

The successful candidate will be personable, professional and approachable, you will be able to deal with difficult customers and remain calm and professional. You will be a team player and looking for a long-term career within the friendly and successful business.

Working Hours – 09:00 – 17:00 OR 09:30 – 17:30 Monday – Friday.

Salary – £24,000

Maternity Cover Contract- 16 months
