Our client, a well-established Steelwork Fabrication company, are looking for a Steelwork Detailer to join the team.
You will have experience using either Tekla or StruCAD and have previously worked on Steel Frame Buildings.
You can expect a very good starting salary, with optional overtime available paid at enhanced rates and a supportive and friendly working environment. The location, near Sandwell, West Midlands makes it easy to commute from surrounding areas.
Steelwork Detailer Duties:
* Working from engineering/GA drawings to create 3D CAD Tekla or StruCad models (mainly portal frame buildings).
* Create detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, erection drawings from the 3D model.
* Raise RFIs/TQs as required where more information is required.
Steelwork Detailer requirements:
* Experience working as a Draughtsman on steel framed buildings is essential.
* Experience using either Tekla or StruCad software is much essential.
* Have a good eye for detail and take pride in your work.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
