Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in xx who are actively looking to recruit a QC Laboratory Technician to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
The QC Laboratory Technician is Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day laboratory activities in accordance with good laboratory Practices, customer, and company requirements.
Assist in the day to day running of the lab, this includes temperature monitoring, water testing, Culturing bacteria and yeasts, Microscopy work.
Carry out Qc Sterility tests.
Prepare media when required, there are a range of medias which need to be prepared as an when required.
Maintain their own paperwork, this includes recording results, and writing reports when required.
investigating complaints, carrying out validation work or routine dose Audits, company Audits may well be required from time to time.What you will need to succeed
Understanding of microbial techniques is desirable.
Scientific background is essential.What you will receive in return:
Monday to Friday - full time
£22,000 to £24,000 (DOE)What you need to do next:
