Marketing & Communications Manager - Droitwich - £30-£35K
My client is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to be responsible for the development and promotion of the Company's / Groups brand and its sub-brands.
The Marketing & Communications Manager would be based in Droitwich but must be able to travel to other locations in the group.
Ideally we are seeking a Junior Marketing Executive or Graduate, with 1-2 years experience with the desire to progress within the Company / Group.
Key Tasks
* Development and approval of the Groups Marketing & Communications Strategy
* Ownership of the brand and its identification
* Management of internal and external communications
* Management of external partners and consultants (PR, design etc.)
* Responsible for identifying, planning and management of trade exhibitions
* Ownership of the CRM database, ensuring it is up to date and comprehensive and relevant to business requirements
* Responsible for all marketing collateral – branded gifts, brochures, product specification sheets etc.
* Management of the website(s) and corporate social media accounts
* Constant communication with the operational leads, ensuring good news is communicated internally and, where appropriate, externally
* Coordination of EMEA board and PR advisors in the event of crisis management
* Lead on the articulation of various go to market strategies developed by the commercial team
* Willingness to travel and be available at sites across the UK
* To frequently liaise with your line manager to ensure spend/forecast is line with associated cost budget
Required Skills
* Degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject
* Relevant experience preferred, In the absence of work experience, an impressive and relevant portfolio will be required
* Excellent communication skills through all media
* A high standard of written, plain English
* Adept at using design software
* Understanding of CRM systems
* IT and social media literate
* Good project management discipline and the ability to manage upwards in the organisation
* Full UK Driving Licence
