Location - West Bromwich

Hours - Day & Night shift available (minimum 40 hours per week)

Overview - Corrugated Packaging Business seeks a highly skilled Glue Operator

Key responsibilities-

Make ready corrugated packaging
Run folder gluing machine - Bobst Vision Fold 160 and Vega Altair
Ability to problem solve and monitor own quality control measures
Ensure smooth day-to-day running of machinery and products
Excellent team working and communication skills
Participate in continuous development and training
Excellent housekeeping and operator maintenance practicesRequirements-

You must have proven experience in the Print & Packaging Industry
Must have have experience of running a folder gluing machine
Ideally operated a Bobst Vision Fold 160 or Vega Altair, alternative experience will be considered
You will need to be used to working under pressure in order to meet deadlines and be able to demonstrate a self motivated and focused approach
Preferably have previous experience of print finishing
Being able to work well within a team and as an individual.
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescales
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Confident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop through continuous training
Good communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
Organised, methodical and logical approach to work
Able and willing to do overtime during busy periods.
