Operations Administrator

Telford

Permanent

£26,000 per annum

Monday to Friday – Flexible hours with a 1pm finish on a Friday

This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding and thriving business in the Telford area. They are looking for an Operations Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be reporting to the Operations Manager where you will be supporting with a wide range of administrative tasks, supporting with order processing, monitoring progress of projects and checking and chasing for updates to assist the wider team. The company offers good benefits including a very generous holiday allowance.

Duties include but are not limited to:

* Undertake all the Sales Order Processing, order acknowledgement and invoicing (including pro-forma invoices) for all goods and services

* Liaise with customers as required, advising of delivery dates.

* Entering new customer accounts onto the system.

* Work closely with office team and warehouse team to ensure customer orders are shipped on time.

* Provide and maintain monthly sales performance reports for management review

* Monitor debtors list, chasing monies outstanding from pro-forma and credit accounts

* Notifying customer of despatch & invoicing

* Customer contract progressing to ensure on-time despatch

* Purchase order progressing

* Arrange deliveries via courier or post.

* Liaise with manufacturing & Sales departments to:

* Update regarding purchase orders & materials supply

* Ensure packing cases are ordered on time

* Updating order progress & despatch dates on internal WMS

* Maintaining information on production planning minutes

* KPIs

* Sending out Customer satisfaction surveys and collating response data.

* Monitor and maintain delivery analysis report.

Skills and Experience

* Excellent knowledge of Excel

* Pegasus Opera operating system experience beneficial

* Experience in office administration

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,

* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment.

* A 'can do' attitude with willingness to turn your hand to anything.
