Location: Hybrid working - Remote/2 days a week in the Birmingham office
£30,000 - £35,000 plus company benefits including pension and private medical cover
Start: Candidates must be able to start by mid June 2024 latest - candidates who are available immediately would be ideal

An accomplished, Midlands based Onsite IT Support/Desktop Engineer is required for this superb opening to work in our leading global client's expanding IT services division as they expand their portfolio of services.

Role:

The Onsite IT Support Engineer will deliver quality IT services from the respective HUB location, collaborating with various IT delivery teams to ensure the business meets its current and future requirements
Acts as a liaison between technical and non-technical staff, communicating technical concepts clearly and understandably to the end-user
The role focuses on providing IT services, following robust processes and providing accurate and consistent outcomes
Understanding agreed Service Levels, ensuring our SLAs and KPIs are met consistently, and providing the best support possible to our business usersRequired experienceL

Solid, recent experience in IT Deskside/Desktop support across medium/large organisations
Proficiency in MS365, Azure Cloud services, Active Directory, and Microsoft Windows
Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (ITSM tools). ServiceNow/Halo experience essential
Ideally ITIL and MCSE qualified
Strong customer service orientation, good communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
Ability to problem-solve complex hardware and software issues and operate under own initiative
Knowledge of a variety of OS, Wifi, network fundamentals, software, and systems
Fluent in mechanisms such as anti-virus, peripheral, workstations, and Cloud
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
