Employment Solicitor - NQ

Company: CV-Library
Job type: Full-time
Salary:
35,000 - 40,000 GBP/Year

Are you a newly or imminently-qualifying employment solicitor, looking for a really interesting and unique role?

My client is a thriving and ambitious firm which is seeking to recruit a newly-qualified solicitor to join its busy employment law team in the West Midlands, in a role quite different to many others out there.

You will be working almost exclusively on contentious matters for a predominantly claimant client base, in a position which incorporates elements of the work of both barristers and solicitors to achieve the successful resolution of employment disputes.

The firm is seeking a solicitor who has handled employment law matters during their training and who is keen to take on a caseload where you will be dealing with a variety of claims including wrongful dismissal, breach of contract, enforcement of restrictive covenants and a broad range of discrimination claims, running such matters from instruction through to tribunal.

You will be working alongside a recognised specialist within this field who has an excellent reputation for work of this nature, so if you are looking to pursue a long-term career in the employment law field then you will be in good hands from the outset!

Remuneration is likely to be in the £35k-40k bracket, and represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to fast-track their career in a role working with clients from Day One.
