Interim Data Engineer

The hourly rate for this assignment is up to €80,- per hour excluding VAT.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer within the DWH domain;
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience with Dimensional and Data Modeling;
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience within Microsoft Azure;
• Demonstrated experience with SQL/ETL;
• Demonstrated experience with Azure Data Factory / Azure Synapse;
• Demonstrated experience with Databricks;
• Demonstrated experience with Git (Azure DevOps);
• Experience in Agile working;

As a Data Engineer you'll contribute in making data available and reliable throughout the organization. Our client is working hard to implement a modern data platform (within the Microsoft stack). They use tooling like DBT, Azure DevOps, Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics (Pipelines). In this role you will be responsible for developing different data warehouses/lakehouses for the different domains within the organization.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of back-end specialists, front-end specialists, business analysts, product owner(s) and a data lead. As a Data Engineer, you will be able to analyze based on functional questions and propose and implement the backend application in line with their architecture.
