Role

The key responsibilities for this exciting Business Development Manager role will be a focused predominantly on developing new business opportunities... developing and maintaining relationships with End Users, cultivating new business opportunities from the established account base. You’ll be responsible growth and retention of existing accounts looking for upsell / solution selling of large scale security installation, upgrade opportunities within in the assigned territory of Birmingham / Midlands UK. This role will require being autonomous and self generating leads and making and managing appointments. The successful candidate will be joining a sales team of 12 and will be required to meet and exceed targets and converting marketing strategies into sales.

Candidate

An excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years experience in a target based sales role ideally selling some form electronic security solution, similar aligned technology or systems will also be considered; FM, Hard Services, HVAC, Lighting, Structured cabling etc

To be successful the ideal candidate will be well organised, have the desire and will to close deals and have demonstrable experience in a high pressure sales environment ideally selling security systems to end users in multiple sectors. We are seeking the type of person is confident to coerce at all levels of business and interface external and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of project delivery. Polished oral, written communication & presentations skills are essential. This is an extremely exciting role and a great opportunity to be part of a stable organization experiencing rapid growth phase.

The Package

This role as Business Development Manager is offering a basic salary of £60,000 / £65,000 with a realistic OTE of £150,000+ OTE with an attractive uncapped commission structure.
