A Birmingham based team of 6 specialising on leisure and commercial projects are now looking for an Interior Designer with 7+ years' experience to join them. All candidates must have all-round abilities with particularly strong IA skills. Salary of £35,000 - £45,000 available for the right candidate!
Established over 30 years ago, the practice specialises in commercial and leisure projects in the UK. Their close-knit team is made up of interior designers and architects and they are now looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join them on a permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Working on all stages of leisure projects in the UK
- Producing concept development and client presentations
- Working on all interior architecture stages
- FF&E including sourcing and scheduling
- Working directly with clients, contractors and supplies
- Site visits (travelling UK wide).
Required Skills & Experience
- 7 + years UK experience working on leisure or hospitality projects
- Working on projects from concept development through to completion
- Strong technical knowledge and abilities, with a portfolio to support this
- Interior architecture experience and ability to produce technical packages and detailed drawings
- Proven experience producing client presentations
- On site experience
- Good FF&E knowledge and experience
- Ability to liaise day-to-day with contractors and suppliers queries
- Ability to travel to projects and site throughout the UK
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Sketch Up.
What you get back
- Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
- 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays and extra time off between Christmas and New Year
