Company Overview:
We are a specialist career transition company dedicated to helping individuals identify and launch their next careers. We have an exciting opportunity to join a large national organization that maintains a local feel and is recognized as an armed forces-friendly employer.

This role offers a perfect transitional opportunity for service leavers to gain exposure within the commercial world while working alongside fellow veterans, providing a comfortable and semi-familiar environment. Candidates should be able to work effectively within a team and independently, demonstrating the transferable skills that this employer values and is eager to see integrated into their culture and organization.

As a candidate for this position, you will be responsible for effectively managing departmental resources and liaising with clients on both technical and commercial matters. Your focus will be on continuously improving operational efficiencies and client deliverables, including turnaround times. Site testing may also be required. It is essential to ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, technical, and commercial standards. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop and mentor the technician team and conduct staff training. As a proactive member of the laboratory management team, you will also be expected to undertake any other duties reasonably requested by your employer.
