The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer for a leading company based in Coventry.
Reporting into the Programme Director the Project Engineer will play a pivotal role utilising various techniques to ensure that the project deliverables are completed to a high standard in line with the overall project timing.

Responsibilities
* Company Policies: Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company
* To oversee project budgets and supervise the preliminary stages of major projects
* Assessing production costs and other vital data pertaining to the project
* Compiling data derived from reports, revising time schedules according to necessity overseeing the quality of work at project site
* Support project review meetings
* Liaise with Engineering teams, Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the timely closure of all actions
* Responsible for the general management of the development and production stages of projects
* Produce product design and development plans
* Ensuring all safety & legal requirements are being followed, interpreting clients’ necessities, pinpointing, and addressing engineering problems and implementing solutions.
Essential Skills
* Strong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within interiors / exteriors or within a Project Support/ Management role, in a fast paced, forward-thinking business
* Liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and other service providers
* Ability to manage one’s own time, multitask and prioritise workload accordingly
* Proven record of people & project management
* Proficient in project management tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software
* Ability to produce reports and conduct meetings
* Plans work and cascades to team
* Integrates departmental planning with other business units
* Demonstrates good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalism
* Organised, Methodical but Flexible approach to workload
* Must have IDLR/ Full right to work in UK- Sponsorship will not be provided.
Desirable Skills
* Experience and knowledge of designing project guidelines and procedures
* Can lead moderate teams
* Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
