We at Twenty4Seven Education are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic RE Teacher to join one of our esteemed secondary schools in Coventry.
As an RE Teacher, you will have the chance to facilitate meaningful discussions about religious traditions, values, and ethics.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons that explore various religious beliefs, practices, and perspectives.
*
Create a respectful and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, share their own beliefs, and engage in critical reflection.
*
Integrate a variety of teaching methods, resources, and multimedia materials to enhance students' understanding of religious concepts and promote cross-cultural awareness.
*
Facilitate discussions on ethical dilemmas, social justice issues, and the role of religion in contemporary society.
*
Differentiate instruction to accommodate students with diverse religious backgrounds, learning needs, and levels of religious literacy.
*
Assess student learning through a range of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their spiritual and intellectual growth.
*
Collaborate with colleagues to organize religious observances, interfaith dialogue events, and community service projects to promote religious tolerance and understanding.
Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in religious education or a related field.
*
Strong knowledge of major world religions, religious traditions, and ethical principles.
*
Experience teaching RE or related subjects to students of varying ages and backgrounds (preferred but not required).
*
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
*
Commitment to promoting religious tolerance, empathy, and critical thinking skills among students.
