Due to continued growth, currently in infrastructure change projects in particular, we are looking to strengthen our clients team to support the delivery of existing and new projects.

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Safety Consultant to work on a wide range of interesting safety engineering projects as part of the Safety, Security and Human Factors Team. Ideally you will have 10+ years' experience either in safety engineering, risk management or systems engineering.

You will be part of our rapidly growing and dynamic team of experienced safety engineers delivering high quality work to clients, sometimes to demanding timescales. If you are enthusiastic, curious, self-motivated and willing to work hard this is the role for you!

The person we are looking for is someone who is passionate about delivering excellent service to customers and who has the ambition and capability to develop into a Principal Consultant or future leader of our business. As a Senior Consultant you will support developing the junior team members as part of succession planning for the future.

You will need to have experience of delivering safety engineering and assurance to engineering projects, applying the methods and tools aligned to key standards such as EN50126, EN50129 or IEC 61508 and/or CSM-RA

You will be able to bid, win and deliver commercially successful projects; working with clients to understand their objectives and desired outcomes for each project.

You will work on a wide range of exciting projects such as:

Safety assurance management, safety approvals and CSM work for major infrastructure projects such as National Train Control Centre in Dublin, Crewe Hub remodelling and East Coast Mainline
Supporting contractors to complete CSM and approvals for station works such as Birmingham New Street, Darlaston and Willenhall and Coventry Station.
Safety assurance for new products such as high speed points system, axle counters and other signalling systems
Safety management systems consulting such as RM3 auditing and safety strategy development
Supporting business development and writing proposals; developing relationships with clients and industry stakeholders is a must.

You will have opportunity to work on projects worldwide including Australia, US, Canada, Asia and Middle East.
