Currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a Manufacturing company based in Coventry. This will suit a candidate looking for a varied role within a fast paced environment, that is experienced within quality and health & safety.

Role responsibilities –

For the role of Manufacturing Engineering, you will be using various strategies and tools to provide effective solutions to customers' concerns.
Communicating with clients, engineers, and other technicians to ensure that services are delivered effectively.
Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labour required will be required for the Manufacturing Engineer role.
Diagnosing problems within the production process and providing recommendations and training.
Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.
Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.
Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.
Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders.
Analysing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.
Obtaining any materials and equipment required.
Supporting customer site acceptance visits
Health & Safety - PPE, Risk Assessment, 5S, Lean engineering, and housekeeping.
Training Records - Ensuring employees have the correct training to perform the assigned roles and maintaining training records.
Maintaining and improving quality standards throughout the business is required for the Manufacturing Engineer role.
Manages Environmental objectives relevant to ISO14001 standards.
Responsible for performing various site audits with respect to tasks, documentation, product processing, production, housekeeping, manufacturing, etc., and CARs.
Responsible for accreditation renewal: ISO9001: AS9100D; 14001, etc.
Point of contact for customer quality concerns.
Calibration and Maintenance 
Role requirements –

Degree in engineering
Proficiency with MS Office.
Proven experience in the engineering field is required for the Manufacturing Engineer role.
Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong leadership abilities.
Superb written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to make decisions under pressure.
Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proven track record of implementing quality practices.
Change management experience (advantageous).
