We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Planner to join an exciting pharmaceutical company based in the Suffolk area. As the Manufacturing Planner you will be responsible for planning out every step of the production process to ensure that the product is manufactured as soon as possible while meeting customer deadlines and maximizing efficiency.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Manufacturing Planner will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. To control inventory levels to make sure they stay high enough to satisfy demand, escalate any problems, and seek a solution.

2. Participate in strategic projects with the manufacturing excellence team that improve output reliability, process efficiency, manufacturing costs, operational planning, personnel productivity, asset productivity, and capacity utilization.

3.Oversee a sales and operational planning team to ascertain client demand and projections and inform the group of the availability of completed goods.

4. Keep updating the planning process so that it is an operation which can react to volatile customer demand.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Manufacturing Planner we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree/qualifications.

2. Proven industry experience in chemical manufacturing/pharmaceutical manufacturing businesses working within the production/manufacturing team.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with planning and leading roles, with good experience of MRP.
