One of our corporate objectives is to provide warm, secure and most importantly safe homes for our customers to live in. We need a Gas Manager to make this happen.
The role
You will have experience leading and managing a team of qualified engineers to deliver the gas servicing program, gas repairs, and out of hours service within our customers’ homes.
We expect customer care to be central to what you do, maintaining high standards, and communicating effectively. Our customer base is diverse, and we expect our services to adapt accordingly.
With a working knowledge of Health and Safety, you will carry out all duties whilst adhering to bdht’s safe systems of work.
Using the organisation’s housing management system, you will produce and validate the annual gas servicing program and schedule the appointments as well as ensuring the stock condition database is kept up to date.
You will also be required to provide written reports to the Senior Management Group, maintaining and presenting statistical records for reporting.
About you
We are looking for a Repairs Manager with experience working within a gas delivery service, ideally within the social housing sector, and with experience managing a team with compliance responsibilities.
You will need to hold a gas management qualification (NVQ level 3 in gas management or similar) or be willing to achieve this within the first 2 years.
You will also need to hold the following Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT CKR1, HRT1
The post-holder will hold a current full driving licence and will need access to a vehicle.
