Daily Rate: £85 - £95

Employment: Long term to permanent Monday to Friday (8.30am – 4pm)

GSL Education are currently supporting a school in Dudley are looking for experienced special educational needs (SEN) teaching assistants who will be involved with working 1:1 and small groups with children with Extremely Challenging Behaviour, Autism, ADHD, Aggression, SEMH, PMLD, Looked After Children, CSE/CSA, those who are at risk of harm to themselves or others as well as individuals with Attachment difficulties.
 
Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 behaviour support to pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN requirements
Managing and implementing appropriate structures to manage challenging behaviour
Acting like a positive role model and providing nurture support
Providing numeracy and literacy booster sessions out of the classroom
Ensuring you read about the child’s requirements
The care and welfare of pupils to include toileting and feeding as required.
To assist pupils with dress/changing for activities/personal hygiene
Requirements:

High standards of written and spoken English.
NVQ Level 2 Childcare, Learning and Development or equivalent qualification.
Willing to undertake all training necessary to perform the role.
