Joshua Robert have partnered with a leading public sector organisation based in Worcestershire, looking for a talented Compliance/Fire Manager to join the team on a full time permanent basis. The Lead Fire Compliance Manager is dedicated to ensuring the safety and compliance of our client’s corporate and maintained school premises.
  
Role Purpose:
As the Compliance Manager (Fire Lead), you will be the principal point of contact for all fire compliance matters across our client’s portfolio. Your role will ensure that all premises comply with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, minimising risk and maintaining safety standards. You will also support schools in their delivery of non-fire statutory compliances and manage fire-related construction activities.
  
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage a comprehensive fire compliance program.
Act as the qualified person for fire compliance, providing advice and support.
Ensure timely and thorough fire risk assessments and remedial actions.
Coordinate with service providers to maintain compliance standards.
Monitor performance against KPIs and address any under-performance.
Investigate fire incidents and manage records meticulously.
Develop and deliver training on fire safety management.   
Main Activities:
Implement Fire Policy and risk control measures.
Maintain accurate schedules and databases of fire-affected premises.
Oversee fire risk assessments, inspections, and remedial works.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate fire compliance in projects.
Manage contractors' performance and ensure health & safety compliance.
Support maintained schools in managing fire and general statutory compliance.   
Essential Experience & Skills:
Substantial experience managing large-scale fire contracts or similar.
Strong track record in end-to-end management of fire contracts.
Expertise in RRFO 2005 and related compliance regulations.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and contract management skills.
Proven ability to lead teams and work under pressure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work flexibly and manage budgets effectively.   
Qualifications:
Level 6 qualification or equivalent experience.
Diploma in Fire Safety or comparable qualifications.
Willingness to obtain additional qualifications as required
