ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a Y6 Teacher to work in one of our partneered schools on a long-term full-time basis for the entirety of the Academic Year begining September 2024.

This role is a maternity cover, therefore you will be taking on the whole Class Teacher role including; marking, planning and preparation as well as the other additional responsibilities that come along-side working as a Class Teacher.

The school is a two form entry, therfore you will have additional support and shared planning with the parallel Year 6 Teacher to help split the workload.

Due to the nature of the role, you will also be given PPA time.

The school is looking for a reliable individual who can build rapport with students and Teachers alike.  

ECT's would be considered and for the right person, support may be available to be able to complete one of your ECT terms if required.

The role  
You will have the opportunity to join teams of experienced staff with students who are eager to learn.

Requirements  
To be considered for the Primary Supply Teacher position, you will:  

Have a relevant QTS. 

Have or be able to acquire a DBS on the update service. 

Be able to secure relevant references from the past two years. 

Be an eager teacher with previous experience of teaching at a Primary level (Preferably KS2)

Be able to establish good relationships with both students and staff, and be able to understand different learning styles of students and adapt to this accordingly. 

Demonstrate excellent communication skills with a polite and positive manner. 

Pay  

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS status and referenceable experience in a Primary School Setting.
