Role Description
Perform routine plant tests and inspections as required, collecting, recording and collaborating data.
Be able to assist/implement emergency procedures and instructions calmly and effectively in dynamic situations.
Analyse process performance and collaborate data whilst logging all operational activity as required.
Monitor stocks of consumables and residues, ensuring correct system operation and safeguarding operational continuity.
Trim the plant so as to deliver optimum performance.
Undertake continuing personal development to enhance knowledge & skills relevant to the role.
Receive and respond to telephone calls in a courteous and concise manner.
Carry out other reasonable tasks and duties as requested by management.
Execute comprehensive shift handovers at the beginning and end of each shift.Skills and Qualifications
Operational experience gained through shift working in a continuous process industry, preferably within the power generation or defence sectors
Exposure to working in demanding and dynamic work environments which demand calm and logical decision making.
