Due to continued growth Next Generation are recruiting for a Process Engineer to work with a well-established engineering company based near Stourbridge. As the Process Engineer you will be responsible for implementing process improvements across the clients manufacturing facility, whether it be minimising scrap or optimising methods of manufacture.

Shift pattern for the Process Engineer

* Monday - Friday (7.00am – 16.00pm)

Duties of the Process Engineer:

* To minimise internal and external scrap

* Ubiquitous pursuit for development and methodology of parameters that produce sound castings.

* Pioneer design modifications needed to enhance the quality, reduce lead time, tooling and manufacturing costs.

* Maintain calibration of simulation software and measurement tools

* Advance and support operational methodology of simulation software

* Co-ordinate and maintain QC systems according to VFL quality management

* Reduce cost of manufacturing and eliminate re-working

* Be a role model for the department to influence positive change

* Mentor employees with potential and passion for learning

The successful candidate for the Process Engineers position will have the following experience:

* 3 – 5 year’s experience working as an Process Engineer (essential).

* Proven track record in reducing scrap (essential)

* Proven ability and track record using continuous improvement methodologies (Essential)
