We are recruiting for a Tooling Quality Controller (Core shop) to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The Tooling Quality Engineer will assist Core production, ensuring that the quality of cores are maintained in order to meet production demands. You will be responsible for maintaining corebox registers and ensuring that the coreboxes are ready for production without any risk to quality or delays.
As the Tooling Quality Controller you will be required too :
* Create a corebox register and systems to allow efficient location of coreboxes
* Ensure that the required coreboxes for the days production are ready at core machines (returning used boxes to the required location)
* Ensure that Core information is kept up to date on method cards to avoid production errors
* Review method cards for indication of box clean requirement
* Inspect coreboxes to ensure that they are ready for production
* Keep a log of corebox repairs and modifications
* Create and manage a maintenance log to provide speedy diagnosis of issues
Requirements:
* Able to work in a fast paced environment
* Able to plan workload in order to complete tasks
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent time keeping and attendance
* Experience in a foundry environment
