Pertemps Dudley are excited to be working with a leading steel manufacturing company in Dudley, who are seeking a skilled and experienced Turret Setter to join their team. Our client are entering a very busy period and are looking for Turret Setters due to growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare turret punch press machines for production runs.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine machine settings.
Adjust machine settings such as speed, depth, and alignment to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
Load and unload materials onto the machine, ensuring proper positioning and alignment.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Turret Setter or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in setting up and operating turret punch press machines.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Hours of work:
Monday-Thursday 2pm-10.30pm
Friday 2pm-7.30pm
Rate of pay:
£13.09 per hour
