Generalist HR Advisor required for a precision engineering manufacturer based in Leicester. 

We're seeking a skilled HR professional to foster a positive work environment for a talented team of c100 staff. £34K - £36K + Cash quarterly bonus scheme

Reporting to the UK Head of Human Resources, the HR Advisor will support and advise the Management team in all aspects of the Human Resource function, including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations and Employment Law.

Work with the team to ensure their people across all roles benefit from a positive workplace experience and ensure through the development and implementation of Human Resource policies and procedures that the Company works in line with Human Resource “best practice”.

Additional requirements to support your role:

Proven experience of working as a proactive HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment
A formal qualification in Human Resources such as CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) or working towards
Experience of working with Trade Union Representatives and promoting positive industrial and employee relations
A solid understanding of employment law and how to implement into company Policy and Procedure
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage a range of stakeholders
Ability to work independently, lead on activities where required whilst also being a key contributor to the HR Team
Ability to handle sensitive information in a professional manner and have a understanding of GDPR requirements
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work within set timeframes
Sound organisation skills with the ability to prioritise a diverse workload
Strong IT skills, with the ability to use all Microsoft Office functions and experience of working with HR Management systems
Previous experience of working with some of the following software: Workday, ADP, Kronos and SAP
Possession of a Full UK Driving licence and willingness to travel between locations
