Job Role: Punch & Laser Operator
Location: Leicester
Type: Full-time
Salary: £12.50-£13.50 per hour DOE
Shifts: Early - 6am to 2:30pm (40 hours per week) / (30- min unpaid break)
Late - 2pm - 1am Mon-Thurs (30- min unpaid break)
You will start on the early shift but could be asked to switch as per the needs of the business.
The Role:
We are currently looking to recruit a Punch (Trumpf) & Laser (Bystronic) Operator for a busy manufacturing company in the Leicester area.
You will be responsible for operating Punch & Laser cutting machinery and other laser-based equipment to produce components and products to specification in a fast paced environment.
This role involves setting up, programming and maintaining punch & laser cutting machinery, as well as monitoring and adjusting the machinery to ensure a high-quality product is produced.
The Punch & Laser Operator will:
Have experience of setting and operating Laser (Bystronic) cutting machinery
Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Have a strong technical knowledge
Have excellent attention to details
Be able to problem sole and use own initiative
Be able to quality check componentsThe Company:
