Are you a CNC Machinist who is currently looking for a new challenge within purchasing and quoting?
We are currently looking for a Purchasing Assistant in Nuneaton to support a busy and well-established manufacturing company. This role will suit candidates with a very technical background within CNC machining that now wants to progress their career in the offices.
Role responsibilities –
* For the role of Purchasing Assistant, you will be purchasing raw material and other consumables.
* You will be taking control of the export/customs control within the business for the role of Purchasing Assistant.
* You will be completing quotations and negotiating costs.
Role requirements –
* You will be required to have experience working within a manufacturing environment and within CNC Machining for the role of Purchasing Assistant.
* You will be liaising with various departments and facilities, and therefore customer service skills are a must for this position.
* Previous experience purchasing raw materials is required.
