Are you enthusiastic about supporting students on their educational journey? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team!
About the School:
Our partnered school caters to the unique educational needs of young people aged 5 – 11 years. They focus on creating a safe and supportive learning environment, where students can build self confidence and esteem. Our partnered school has fantastic facilities, including specialised classrooms, therapeutic spaces, outdoor spaces and music therapy.
Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Student Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, assisting with understanding lesson content.
Resource Preparation: Collaborate with teachers to prepare and organise activities, ensuring a smooth learning experience for students.
Inclusive Education: Create an inclusive classroom environment by helping students with diverse needs, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to thrive both academically and socially.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour and achievements, contributing to the assessment and feedback process.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you will need:
* Enhanced DBS Check
* Relevant teaching or education qualifications or experience within a school setting.
* Demonstrate a caring and patient attitude and have a genuine desire to support students in their educational journey.
Additional Details:
Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
