QA Technician - Office Based with 3 days per week in the office
QA Technician, office based in the dynamic heart of the West Midlands. In this critical capacity, you will develop test plans and scripts, perform rigorous regression testing, and ensure Software is fully optimized and error-free for diverse markets. The ideal person will have
At least 2 years’ experience of working alongside a development team testing on a wide range of Mobile & desktop devices
Experience of full development lifecycle (preferably on HTML5/JavaScript based content)
Experience of planning and executing test scenarios based on complex technical documentation.
The ability to follow and add to, existing test scripts
The ability to work well under pressure, as part of a team or alone, with little supervision
A good understanding of bug tracking software such as YouTrack or JIRA
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
An eye for detail
An inquisitive and tenacious nature and the desire to step outside of standard scripted testing to ensure best quality
