Job Description:
Position: Field Based Service Engineer Location: Stoke-on-Trent/Uttoxeter/Burton upon Trent/Stafford Base: 40 hours per week plus participation in the on-call rota Starting Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 + Van + Overtime + Commission OTE: £29,500 - £40,000+ once fully trained Ref: Sian(phone number removed)
We are currently expanding our Field Service Team and seeking a skilled and motivated Field Based Service Engineer to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service to our clients and international operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in motors, pumps, plumbing, electrical systems, and electronic control systems. The ability to conduct fault finding in electro-mechanical devices is essential.
Key Duties:
Swiftly responding to business requirements and working within the UK
Installation of capital equipment such as Washer disinfectors and Macerators
Commissioning work and servicing capital equipment to relevant standards
Building positive customer relationships and providing maintenance and breakdown cover
Collaborating with the service team and adhering to ISO requirements
Updating the Regional Service Manager on progress and working safety-conscious
Skills & Experience:
Demonstrable technical support experience, preferably in a field-based role
Proficiency in electrical/mechanical fault finding and plumbing installations
Technical qualification such as National Certificate/City and Guilds
Desirable qualifications in HTM 2010 and HTM2030
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work autonomously
Excellent time management skills and prioritization abilities
