Are you an Optical Assistant looking to move into you next role?
I’m working with an independent opticians based across Staffordshire and the West Midlands. They currently own eight practices and pride themselves on their dedication to customers and quality of work. They offer both NHS and private sight tests along with a range of designer and budget frames.
Position: Optical Assistant
Location: Cannock
Salary: up to £24,000
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours
Responsibilities
* To provide a high standard of care for patients
* To greet patients warmly
* To conduct prescreens with patients and hand over to Optometrists prior to a sight test
* To support patients with frame selection and fitting
* To dispense spectacles to all levels
* Daily equipment cleaning/checks and occasional fault finding/maintenance.
Ideal Candidate
* You will have experience of working in an Optical Assistant role
* You will be used to working in a customer facing environment and have excellent customer service skills.
* You will have good communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with the Optometrists to raise any concerns/issues.
* You will be bright, bubbly and patient.
