Our client, a UK leading company, are recruiting for an Assembly Operative / Fitter to join their team. This work is located in their top class modern manufacturing facility just outside of Stafford town centre (ST18).
This is a long term working opportunity. Full time working hours, with no unsociable hours being worked.
Assembly Operative / Fitter key job details:
* Monday to Friday only, 07:00 to 15:45 (15-minute break in the morning and 30-minute lunch)
* 40hrs per week
* Pay rate: £11.75ph
Assembly Operative / Fitter key job details:
* Use of hand and air powered tools to assemble and fit components to the end product
* Working to set production target times
* Working from instruction (written, drawn, and verbal)
* You will receive training in various departments including Assembly, and Testing.
* Complying with health and safety regulations at all times
Assembly Operative / Fitter person specification:
* Experience within an assembly or fitter biased job would be ideal
* Be comfortable working with both hand and air powered tools
* Be able to work to set production times
* Hold a good level of English reading and verbal skills
* Flexible & confident attitude with a proactive hands-on approach
