About Us: Our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Erdington is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for students who need an alternative to mainstream education. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
Develop individualized learning plans to support student progress and engagement.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters mutual respect and encourages language learning.
Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure a holistic approach to each student’s education.
Monitor and report on student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
Engage with parents, carers, and external agencies to support students' overall development and well-being.
Key Skills and Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Modern Foreign Languages.
Experience teaching in a PRU or similar setting is highly desirable.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with varied learning needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to supporting students facing significant challenges.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility and creativity in your teaching approach.
