Title: Process Safety Specialist
Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week Warwick office
Salary: Up to £55k - £60k + Package
Forsyth Barnes have partnered with a utilities organisation based in the West Midlands as they seek to add a Process Safety Specialist to their team. The role involves providing expert process safety support, coaching, and training to staff in across the live environment. Responsibilities include driving the implementation of the company's process safety strategy, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and promoting continuous improvement in process safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide process safety support, coaching, and training to staff.
* Drive the implementation of the company's process safety strategy.
* Serve as a point of contact for process safety issue.
* Develop and implement process safety policies, standards, and strategies.
* Facilitate the management of Process Safety KPIs.
* Support accident/incident investigations and provide expert process safety advice.
* Develop and implement improvement programs to enhance process safety capability.
* Identify and share best practices internally and externally.
About You:
* Demonstrate technical Process Safety knowledge on major hazard assets.
* Experience in operational/engineering environments.
* Detailed understanding of Health and Safety Management Systems and legislative requirements.
* Effective people management and interpersonal skills.
* Proven coaching and motivation skills.
* Knowledge of policy creation, management systems, auditing, risk management, and compliance reporting.
* Essential qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate, Valid UK driving licence
