We are recruiting for a Press Setter/Operator in the Bilston area. (WV14 0QL)
Details of a Press Setter/Operator
- Monday – Friday
- Rotating shifts 05:45am – 14:00pm / 14:15pm – 22:30pm.
- £13.80 - £15.62ph, depending on experience.
- Temp – Perm
- Bilston
Role of a Press Setter/Operator
- Reading and interpretating drawings.
- Working independently and from initiative.
- Set up and operate press machines according to specifications.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on press machines.
Experience requirements of a Press Setter/Operator
- Familiar with Amada and or/ Bystronic CNC brake presses.
- Must have overhead crane experience.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication process.
- Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
