PWD Connect are recruiting for a qualified Design & Technology Teacher to work in one of our Secondary schools in the Wolverhampton/South Staffordshire area. The role is on a long term basis.

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Qualified Design & Technology Teacher. This role is ideal for someone who possesses a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of young people and is enthusiastic about working in the education sector. While formal teaching qualifications are not required, candidates must demonstrate a genuine interest in education and a willingness to learn and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects within the secondary school curriculum.

* Support students with their learning, providing guidance and encouragement as they progress academically.

* Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

* Collaborate with teaching staff to create engaging and interactive learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of students.

* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance with their studies.

* Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources, including classroom displays and educational aids.

* Uphold school policies and procedures, promoting positive behaviour and maintaining discipline within the classroom.

* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities as required.

* Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community within the school.

Requirements:

* Strong organisational abilities and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
