Bank Housing Assistant

Company: CV-Library
Job type: Full-time

If you are passionate about helping people and have the skills to guide customers to better manage their homes - we want you at Bromford.

This bank role would be ideally suited to you if you have spare time in your week to work, sometimes at short notice. Your purpose is to provide ad-hoc housing-related support to customers who rent in our homes.

As a neighbourhood and community assistant, you’ll work with our neighbourhoods team who ensure customers are supported and properties are well maintained. Day to day you will manage tenancy sign ups and changes as well as making sure customers are settling into their new homes. You’ll also complete health and safety inspections of the communal spaces, managing customers’ expectations around repairs as well as escalating any property maintenance issues.

To be successful here, you’ll need to be someone who genuinely cares about people - but with resilience, and experience of managing a busy and varied workload. Self-starters who are good communicators will thrive, as well as someone who is curious and doesn’t shy away from having difficult conversations

This role is available as a zero hour contract and you’ll support customers across Gloucestershire. It will involve regular travel with home working also available. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

You will be someone who:

* Has experience working in a customer facing role

* Is well organised, comfortable in making their own decisions and a problem solver

* Will show confidence when articulating services to customers, colleagues and partner agencies

* Is comfortable reporting and maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer information

* Has resilience. Things rarely stand still here, so you need to be someone who embraces change

* Has access to a vehicle and a full driving licence

The closing date is Sunday 21 April
