Proactive Personnel Wolverhampton are looking for a CAD Operator for our prestigious client in the Willenhall area.
Working Hours - 08:30am - 5pm // Monday to Friday (Start and finish time can be reviewed, e.g. earlier start, earlier finish), with a 30-minute break.
* We're looking for a candidate with a strong skill set in Solidworks(3D model to create the 2D tech drawings) and Driveworks, would be advantageous.
* Producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints.
* A good knowledge of manufacturing (metal fabrications would be ideal)
* IT skills and good communication and typing skills are also important,
* Ability to work independently for periods.
* Remaining professional when feedback is delivered, and implementing any changes to drafts as soon as possible.
* Updating software, drawings, and other documents.

Requirements:
* Knowledge of engineering and construction
* Able to understand complex calculations and have sound knowledge of building and safety regulations
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
* Superb work ethic and ability to accept feedback.
* Willingness to work overtime when required
* AutoCAD can move across to Solidworks relatively quickly
