Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Swim Instructor to join our school. As a Swim Instructor, you will have the opportunity to educate and inspire individuals of all ages in the art of swimming. This is a rewarding position that allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of others while sharing your love for the water.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct swim lessons for individuals or small groups, focusing on water safety and stroke development
- Create and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs and abilities of each student
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations of swimming techniques
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants during lessons
- Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Maintain a clean and organized swimming area
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Swim Instructor or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety practices
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate swimming skills to students of all ages

Person

* ASA Level 2 Teaching Aquatics or the STA Level 2 Certificate in Swimming Teaching

* Current Lifeguard Qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), National Rescue Award to Swimming Teachers and Coach (NRASTC), or STA Safety Award for Teachers Qualification. We will require up-to-date certification.

* At least 12 months’ swim teaching experience

* At least 6 months’ experience working with 5 – 17-year-olds
