Quantity Surveyor – Scaffolding
Location: Carlton, Barnsley
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Company Car
Responsibilities:
* Conducting detailed cost analysis and preparing estimates for Scaffolding, Cradle, Temporary Works, Access, & Mast Climber solutions.
* Collaborating with project managers to develop budgetary requirements and cost plans.
* Managing tender processes and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Monitoring project costs, variations, and valuations throughout the project lifecycle.
* Providing timely and accurate financial reports to senior management.
* Evaluating and negotiating contractual agreements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* Proven experience in Quantity Surveying
* Thorough knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, QS software).
