Art Worker (print packaging)

Location: Barnsley, UK

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they specialise in sourcing and delivering innovative products to meet their clients' diverse needs.

They are expanding their design team and seeking a dedicated Print Packaging Art Worker. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective packaging of printed materials, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production deadlines.

Duties:

Operate and maintain packaging machinery, including printers, laminators, and cutters
Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met at all times
Prepare materials for printing, including loading paper, adjusting settings, and performing quality checks
Collaborate with the production team to prioritise orders and meet deadlines
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed
Manage inventory levels of packaging materials and replenish supplies as required
Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment
Maintain accurate records of production activities and materials usage
Requirements:

Proven experience in print packaging or a related field
Proficiency in operating packaging machinery and equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
