Asbestos Quality Manager

Our client, a leading Asbestos specialist, is seeking a driven Asbestos Quality Manager to join their team in Bradford due to growth. Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain the Quality System and procedures relevant to asbestos work, ensuring proper documentation is maintained to support its operations.
Collaborate with the Divisional Quality Manager to develop an annual audit schedule that meets UKAS requirements and ensures periodic audits of all disciplines throughout the year.
Maintain records of all audits conducted, corrective/preventative actions taken, and measures implemented.
Plan and conduct regular personnel audits at intervals determined by the audit schedule.
Ensure that all asbestos personnel are trained in accordance with documented procedures, and maintain proper documentation to support training and retraining efforts.
Collaborate with the Divisional QC Manager to distribute Quality Control samples and collect completed results, maintaining proper documentation of all results submitted, monthly progress reports, and equipment records.
Conduct regular calibration and routine maintenance of test equipment, and organise and administer monthly background air tests, replicate analysis, and duplicate surveys.
Skills/Experience Required:

Proven experience and knowledge of all aspects of Asbestos Quality Systems and UKAS requirements.
Solid background in Technical and Quality Management.
Demonstrated training skills and ability to effectively communicate with others.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
