Leaf Recruitment Bradford are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Grounds Maintenance Operatives with a driving license for our client in Keighley. Work to commence 2nd April 2024
To work: Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm and Friday 8am – 3.30pm
Pay Rate: £11.44 PAYE in addition you will accrue holiday pay. After 12 weeks overtime is paid at £16.01 after 37 hours worked.
Drivers license will be required
Successful candidates will be required to carry out a variety of grounds maintenance work mainly: grass cutting including the use of strimmer’s, walk behinds, ride-on mowers, shrub bed works, hedging, landscaping, site clearance, bulk rubbish & fly tip removal, chemical treatment & application.
You will work as part of a team with seasonal staff, trainees, local residents, community groups and voluntary organisations including contractors.
To apply for the position you will need:
•Experience of grounds maintenance manual work and a basic plant knowledge
•General knowledge of health & safety including safe site working practices
•The ability to work with others as part of a team
•To be able to work out doors in all weathers, on all ground terrain types
