SEND Teaching Assistant

Accelerate Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a thriving Secondary School in Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support and assistance to students with SEND, both in and out of the classroom, to help them achieve their full potential.
Work closely with teachers and other staff members to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tailor learning activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Assist with the assessment of students' progress and contribute to the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons.
Encourage independence and promote the development of essential life skills among students with SEND.Requirements:

Previous experience working with individuals with SEND is essential.
A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of students with diverse needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEND would be advantageous.Why Join Us:
