Role Overview:

Join our team at a vibrant day centre for people with Learning and Physical Disability, Sensory Impairments, and Autism in Bradford as a Deputy Manager. In this dynamic role, you will work alongside the manager to ensure the smooth operation and delivery of our services. With a varied and rewarding workload, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients while working in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deputize for the manager and assist in overseeing day-to-day operations.

· Manage staff rotas, providing mentoring, training, and coaching as needed.

· Ensure the smooth running and delivery of services, including supported activities such as employment, arts and crafts, and recreational outings.

· Coordinate client activities, including visits to local markets, work experience placements, and cultural excursions.

· Maintain and oversee the use of centre facilities, including technology resources, kitchen facilities, and recreational areas.

· Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, and participate in on-call duties as required.

· Drive service vehicles as needed, requiring a valid manual driver's license.

· Would assist and support in the development of new packages and services for the business.

Qualifications:

· Care and supervisory experience within the social care sector not less than 18 months.

· Flexibility, organization, and a positive approach to challenges.

· Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Manual driver's license with a clean driving record.
