Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be partnering with a global manufacturing business in Bradford as they look to recruit an experienced Management Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Duties and responsibilities:

Completion of monthly and quarterly management accounts for specified companies including narrative, interpretation and recommendations
Close involvement in the monthly and annual stock taking process
Ensure the stock costing model is updated on a regular basis
Preparation and development of sales and profitability reports
Close monitoring, reporting and control of overhead expenditure
Preparation of local budget
To work with external advisors and professionals including tax advisors, auditors and accountants
To remain fully up to date with all relevant changes to legislation
To continually review processes and provide recommendations to continue to deliver accurate and timely information
Undertake project work as and when required and support Operational Managers
To be committed to own continuing professional development
To work alongside the Finance Manager and assist with any queries/tasks as required
Person Specification:

A recently qualified or part qualified Accountant (recognised by appropriate bodies such as ACCA or CIMA)
Ability to assimilate complex financial information and provide detailed narrative reporting including recommendations
Effective communication skills, able to influence and communicate with others at all levels
Ability to work within limited supervision; to make decisions and use own initiative
Ability to demonstrate strong IT skills including Excel and reporting
Excellent listening skills
Good organisational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work within tight deadlines and to manage a number of activities at any one time
Ability to reprioritise work with minimum warning
Strong attention to detail

Ability to deal with sensitive & confidential matters as necessary
Ensure high levels of data protection and security at all times and swift reporting of breaches
